Readers

Ministers who read the Lessons during the worship service serve a critical role in
delivering God’s Word to the people, All may not be called to this ministry. It requires
the gifts of clear speaking, conveying the meaning of the text, and the ability to project
one’s voice loudly enough for everyone present to hear. Readings are assigned and
sent ahead of time and should be rehearsed before the Sunday service.
