Greeters

The goal of worship is to share the spirit of hospitality with all who come to church.
This begins in the parking lot with the parking lot greeters. A simple word of welcome
sets the tone so that people enjoy their Sunday morning. As with all ministries, it is
important to remember to greet each person as though he or she were the Lord.

The next line of hospitality happens in the narthex when people are greeted again and
receive a nametag. Note that it is important to wear a nametag even if you have been
attending Apostles “since the beginning”. In this way ALL members of Apostles help to
welcome the newcomer.
