Theological Tuesdays – Adult educational study programs are scheduled throughout the year. These take place on Tuesday evenings and all are welcome to come join us.

Winter 2010 and Spring 2011 Schedule

Tuesday evenings: Meditation 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. We meet at the Prayer Circle for a guided meditation. All are welcome to join us.

Tuesday evenings: Led by Father Bob Harvey, the group is currently studying Rabbi Jesus by Bruce Chilton a noted biblical scholar. He “places Jesus within the context of his times to present a fresh, historically accurate, and revolutionary examination of the man who founded Christianity.” This class will end on November 30th.

Pastor Traquair is leading a Catechumenate class at 6:30 p.m. Journey to Jesus is a class for adults who have re-embraced their faith, or found it for the first time. If you are interested in Baptism, Confirmation or a Reaffirmation, this is the group for you! This class ends in April.

Tuesday evenings in the Spring:
In January, from the 11th through the 25 we will have a short introductory series of “Living the Question”. We will view a DVD and then have discussion.

From February 1 – March 1: The Mystics and the Contemplative Path.  Frank Price will lead a discussion group based on a series of lectures by James Finley, “Following the Mystics Through the Narrow Gate”. This view into our mystical heritage opens our hearts to the Divine Mystery in which we live and are surrounded. The mystical union to which we are all invited strengthens us to live our lives with compassion and gratitude.
