Welcome to Church of the Apostles
We are an Episcopal Church located in Oro Valley. Our
Church can
be found at Tangerine Road and North La Cholla Boulevard.
While we are a in a new building, we practice an ancient faith.
We find our connection to God, to the Divine, through Jesus Christ.
Our Sunday mornings are filled with worship that is fresh and new, yet
we follow the tradition of the apostles. We continue in their teaching,
in prayer and in the breaking bread together.
We welcome all to join us, no matter where you are in your journey
with God. Our Sunday services are wide ranging,
just like the
members
of our congregation.
Sunday worship begins at 7:30 am with a traditional language service.
The second service takes place at 9:30 and draws from our familiar
Book of Common Prayer, Rite II.

Thank you for visiting the Church of the Apostles web site!
We have just completed a wonderful presentation on Women in the Bible by Sara Novenson. She is an artist who shared her thinking and prayers and art about the Matriarchs of the Old Testament. Our Church was full of women and men from Christian, Jewish and other faith traditions.
February is a busy time for us. We will be hosting the Tucson Jazz Institute here on Feb 12. The remarkable teens in this group play at a world class level. We were so pleased to be part of their fund raising, and they played such fabulous music last year that we are delighted to have them back with us again.
Our youth are going horseback riding this week and the Pancake Supper is coming up on Shrove Tuesday, Feb 21 at 6:00 pm.
Woven under all these activities is our weekly cycle of Sunday worship, and bible studies, and Christian Meditation. Meals are brought to homes and the sick visited with communion. Come and see the life of Christ with us!
